DONATIONS

DONATING TO FIRST UNITED CHURCH

Our Ministry relies on annual donations to pay for the majority of our annual operating expenses.

Pre-authorized Remittance (PAR)

One of the ways to provide annual donations is through the use of the PAR (Pre-authorized Remittance)  program.  This program allows you to provide your weekly, monthly or yearly donation even when you are not able to attend church.  It provides a solid source of revenue for the Ministry.  If you are interested in making your donations through PAR please contact the church office during operating hours.

Offerings by envelope or Collections plate

You can also give by using an ‘offering’ envelope (numbered to record your donations or not) or even by putting a donation into the collections plate at Sunday service. All donations are welcome, regardless of the amount.

Our Ministry also raises revenue through rental of church space and various fund raisers.

We also rely on the manse investment fund and Planned Gifts money.

PLANNED GIFT FUNDS

The Planned Gifts Fund provides the opportunity for members and friends of First United to continue their support of the life and work of First United Church by way of bequests or other planned gifts.

Donating to the Planned Gifts Fund is a faith statement as well as a practical decision. The disposition of personal resources and assets in this way represents a positive step to helping First United Church meet the challenges of its mission both now and in the future.
