Welcome to First United Church White Rock
We are an open and progressive congregation of the United Church of Canada: welcoming and inclusive, involved in community life, and taking the Bible seriously but not literally.
Please join us on Sundays as we gather to worship at 10:30 am, and feel welcome to attend our joint services with our partner United Churches on the Peninsula. Our event calendar has all the details.
First United White Rock hosts a variety of events for our community but please note that our summer schedule is in effect now. To check on summer events, click here. Many of our programs resume in the Fall. Private events such as weddings, memorials or AA support meetings are not listed on this site. For those dates/times call our office 604-531-4850.

In 2010, First United Church celebrated its Centenary in the beautiful seaside City of White Rock. Our Church traces its roots back to May 1910, when a baptism was held in the garden of pioneers Henry & Margaret Thrift, signifying the first Protestant worship service in this area.
The church has proudly been an integral part of the community since that time, and continues to live out its motto of “God’s Spirit Reaching Out.”
